In October 1991 Polting S.A. (Plc) was set up in Gliwice on Tarnogórska Street manufacturing thermal isolation jackets made from polyethylene foam under licence from HT Troplast AG Germany. We became the first producer in our country of this kind of product and formed a network of distributors all over Poland, as the only representative for HT Troplast AG. We implemented the use of the product in many different areas of industry. In January 1994 Polting Sport was formed and continued the polyethylene foam business. In 2000 we changed the name to Polting Foam Sp. z o.o. (Ltd) (www.foam.polting.com.pl) Later in 1994 We expanded our range products and accepted the appointment from HT Troplast AG to represent them in Poland and sell their Trocal PCV foil sheeting roofing systems, plus Mipolam under carpet foam. In 1995 as the official representative of Trocal and Mipolam in Poland selling their products, we set up a network of installers using the latest technology and opened branches in Gdansk, Warsaw and Poznan. Then in 1997 Polting won the contract to supply and fit a roofing system for GM Opel factory in Gliwice of 80.000m2. This was the foundation to start our installation activity in the company. In the same year Polting won the opportunity to be the representative and head the joint venture of HT Troplast AG Germany and Sika, Switzerland for the newly named company called Sika –Torcal. We are their only official representative in Poland. From 2001 Polting S.A. (Plc) extended their trading and became an official distributor and authorized installer for the most prominent companies in Poland such as : FDT Technologie Dachów Płaskich sp. z o.o. , SIKA POLAND sp. z o.o., ROCKWOOL sp. z o.o., KINGSPAN INSULATION sp. z o.o., ARCELOR MITTAL POLAND S.A. (formally FLORPROFILE). |
